Assistance for start ups

In the recent budget, the Government announced a range of taxation measures designed to assist small businesses and start-ups from July 2016. These include:
• An immediate deduction of certain start-up expenses such as professional fees for legal and accounting advice relating to starting a business. At the moment these costs are typically deductible over 5 years.
• Streamlining the business registration process into a single online registration site.
• Providing CGT relief for small businesses that restructure their business.
• Removing obstacles to crowd-sourced equity funding
